Do shower filters actually work?
Our CLEAR Filter uses the pressure of your water to push it through our integrated water filter. When designing our filter, we focused on the two best filtration mediums for shower conditions: hot water and high velocity. The CLEAR Filter contains KDF-55 and Activated Carbon.
KDF-55 are high-purity copper-zinc granules designed specifically for removing chlorine and heavy metals at high pressure and temperatures. KDF-55 works by transforming chlorine into harmless chloride through a Redox process. Together with Activated Carbon, which absorbs even more chlorine and bacteria, our proprietary filter blend ensures that all the harmful contaminants are removed.

Can a shower filter help with dry & unhealthy hair?
Yes. Dry hair develops when it doesn’t get or retain enough moisture, reducing shine and making it look frizzy and dull. The chlorine and hard water in your shower can strip your hair and scalp of natural oils, causing dryness. By using our shower filter, your hair will retain more of these natural oils and moisture because the chlorine is being filtered out.
Can a shower filter improve skin conditions?
Yes. Chlorine and heavy metals can dry out your skin by stripping it of its natural oils, leading to issues like premature aging, random breakouts, irritation, uneven texture, sensitivity, flakiness, redness, and even skin burns. How often should I replace the filter?
Our Shower Filter is refillable, with each cartridge lasting around 13,000 liters of water, which is approximately:

Is there a subscription for filter replacements?
Yes! Our showerhead comes with one filter, good for three months of clean water. Sign up for our filter subscription, and we’ll handle the replacement planning for you, making sure your shower stays contaminant-free.
How do you make sure that your shower filters work?
We’ve conducted third-party tests with some of the most reputable labs all across the world to confirm that our filter cartridges remove over 85% of chlorine for the filter's lifespan, assuming multiple people shower daily for 90 days. This far exceeds the NSF177 certification standard of 50% chlorine removal.
Shower Filter vs. Water Softener: What’s the difference?
A water softener is a whole-house device that reduces limescale. Our filtered shower head reduces iron, copper, lead, and chlorine, alleviating some of the adverse effects of hard water on the skin and hair.

How do I install the shower filter?
Installing your shower filter is easy:

- Second Step: Every CLEAR product comes preloaded with a filter, so no need to install one. But to double-check, unscrew the bottom and ensure the filter is in place.

We work with four global fulfillment partners in the UK, EU, USA, and UAE. Your order will be shipped from the closest warehouse to your location.

What can I do if my tracking hasn't been updated in a while?
Delays with tracking can be frustrating, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience. Most tracking numbers update within two working days, so please be patient. Sometimes the shipping carrier misses a scan on your package. If your tracking hasn’t updated after a couple of days, let us know! We can see the same tracking information that you can once the package leaves our warehouse but always happy to help so contact us at hi@tryclear.co.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Once an order has been processed or shipped from our warehouse, we’re unable to change the shipping address. However, once you receive the tracking information, you may redirect the package to your new address by contacting the carrier directly. We can also update your address in our system for future orders, or you can manage this via your online account.
How do I cancel my order if it has already been shipped?
If your order has been processed or shipped, we’re unable to make changes. However, you can refuse the package upon delivery. Once your tracking information updates to confirm that the package is being returned to us, notify us immediately, and we’ll process your refund as soon as possible. If refusing the package isn’t an option, we’ll provide you with return instructions.
What should I do if my order is missing an item?
If you’re missing an item from your order, please provide a photo of the items received and the packing slip for our reference. Also, verify that the item is listed in your confirmation email. Our team is here to help and will sort things out for you as quickly as possible.
What should I do if my order says it’s delivered, but I haven’t received it?
